ENGINEERING PURAAN

Written and created by - Ashish Agrawal (Mr. Double A)

The human life span is divided into four stages called ashrams. These are Brahmacharya, Grihastha, Vanaprastha and Sanyasa. The Vedas define a specific purpose for each ashram.

In the same manner an Engineer's college life span is divided into four stages called years. Which are First year, Second year, Third year and Final year.

First Year :

It is the first phase of Engineer's college life when the person just enters into college life after his schooling. In the first year one has to adjust himself / herself according to the college atmosphere. It's the time to learn new things in a new environment when you do things independently, when your parents are not with you, Make friends and start understanding the college. An year full of enthusiasm and fun.

And yes, you also learn the basics and fundamentals of engineering (perhaps).

Enjoy this phase !!

Second Year :

It is second phase of engineer's college life when one just becomes a senior and thinks himself / herself as a king / queen while it's not so. (it happens, can't help it).

It's the year when one enters into actual engineering studies. It's the development phase when one tries to learn about engineering, projects, technical fests, paper presentations, extracurricular technical activities etc. (actually starts collecting certificates). But truly, it's the year when your knowledge is half and you think that you know a lot.

Just be practical and develop yourself in this phase and it's time to explore more and more.

Third Year :

It is third phase of engineer's college life when one gets a bit serious for the studies and has become half engineer. It's the phase when one worries for his engineering career and future, seeks for advice of seniors and professors and develops himself / herself as a professional.

Keep developing and be positive for your future.

The Final Year :

It is the final phase of engineer's college life when one becomes the senior most person.

In this phase, all he/she thinks of is about his / her placement, tries for it and gets it. And after that rides on cloud 9 as if he/she completed his/her ascetic fervour (Tapasyaa) successfully. Then waits for graduation to end, counts the months remaining. But at the end, weeps when he/she leaves the college and friends (In this world, everything comes to an end; so this life too).

Get farewell, get the degree, you become an ENGINEER and engineer's college life ends. (It's like the person gets the "Moksha" or "Mukti" or "Salvation").

Thus the person leaves the college and enters into society as an Engineer. But this life is entirely different from the one which he / she lived during his/her engineering studies. You can never forget this beautiful college life (the life where you enjoy both sorrow and happiness).

Aah... Engineering... (This aah can be in both ways, just depends on your perception as you take it).
